Ingredients
Cookies:
- 1 cup unsalted butter cold
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 teaspoons water
Instructions
- heat kitchen appliance to four hundred degrees. In a bowl, with a mixer mix the butter, sugar, and flavouring. during a separate bowl combine the flour, leavening, and salt. Add the flour mixture a pair of Tablespoons at a time to the butter mixture till utterly combined (important!!)
- Roll into little balls and flatten slightly. they must appear as if a thick checker. Cook for seven minutes (they won't look done) at four hundred degrees on a parchment lined pan. Cool cookies till they're simply heat and place sliced almonds on prime of every cookie.
- For the glaze: mix granulated sugar, flavouring, and water. Drizzle a containerful of glaze on prime of the almonds and cookie.
