1 pound fresh green beans
2 Tbsp. sesame oil
3 cloves garlic
1 shallot
2 Tbsp. tamari (or soy sauce)
Optional: sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, cashews, or slivered almonds for topping
Directions
- Trim ends off inexperienced beans. Mince garlic, and chop shallot.
- Add vegetable oil to an outsized pan over medium to medium-high heat. Let heat for a handful minutes till hot.
- Add shallot and garlic. Heat for 20-30 seconds.
- Add inexperienced beans and stir well to coat.
- Saute till simply tender, concerning 5-6 minutes, stirring typically thus garlic does not burn.
- Add tamari/soy sauce. Toss to mix and cook 1-2 minutes.
- When serving, remember the garlic/shallot items on the lowest of the pan - immense flavor!
