Cowboy Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (28 oz.) can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can of stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cans of drained kidney beans
  • ⅓ cup chili powder
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon cayenne (optional)
  • 2 teaspoon cumin

For thicker chili

  • ⅓ cup cold water
  • 2 Tablespoons masa flour

Brown hamburger. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic and sauté for one minute. Add salt, pepper, water, crushed tomatoes, cooked tomatoes, beans, seasoner, cayenne and cumin. rouse a overboil medium-high heat. cut back heat and simmer twenty min.
