Low Carb Almond Flour Waffles – Gluten Free

  • Ingredients


  • 1 cup almond flour sifted (add more if needed)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum optional

  • 1 cup heavy cream or heavy cream and a little water

  • 2 Tablespoons oil

  • 3 eggs

 Directions

  • In massive bowl, whisk along flour, leaven, salt and xanthan gum (if using).
  • Stir in oil and eggs. combine till merging.
Note: the total one cup liquid is typically not used. Slowly add cream till desired batter thickness is achieved. If your batter finally ends up too skinny, add in additional almond flour to urge it thicker.
Pour into waffle maker to cook.
