215-ounce cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans),(rinsed & drained but reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid to thin out the hummus later
2large garlic clovesif you have time - roasted garlic is awesome in here
2-3tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
1/2teaspoonsmoked paprika
1/4teaspooncumin
sea salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1-2tablespoonsolive oiloptional
chili flakes for garnish
Instructions
Place chickpeas during a liquidiser or kitchen appliance with garlic, juice, paprika, cumin and reserved liquid from the canned chickpeas. mix or puree till terribly sleek, adding a lot of liquid or juice PRN to skinny resolute desired consistency.
