Ingredients
1-1.5 pounds catfish or substitute fish1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning see substitute below if you don't have any on-hand
1 egg
3/4 cup beer room-temperature
vegetable oil for frying
Cajun Seasoning
1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
