2 sticks of butter, room temperature
1 1/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 cup of candied ginger
1 egg for brushing


  • Mix the butter with the sugar till it comes along, then add the flour. Chop the ginger into tiny strips and add 3/4 of the number to the dough. once the flour has been absorbed, add within the egg, combine it many additional times till it seems to be a cohesive dough.
