Norwegian Cardamom Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 -10  vanilla wafer cookies, crushed into crumbs
  • 1 34 cups flour
  • 1  teaspoon baking soda
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 12 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3  eggs
  • 2  teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 23 cup sour cream
  •  confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • Pre-heat kitchen appliance to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9-inch bundt pan with butter; mud with cookie crumbs. Set aside.
  • mix flour and sodium hydrogen carbonate in tiny bowl; put aside.
  • Place sugar and butter in bowl of electrical mixer; beat till lightweight and flossy, 3 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating once every addition, concerning five minutes total.
  • drill cardamom and cinnamon.
  • Add flour mixture; beat till simply combined. Add bitter cream; beat till swish, concerning one minute.
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Bake till strip inserted in center of cake comes out clean, concerning fifty minutes.
  • Let stand five minutes; prove on a wire rack. Cool utterly.
  • mud with confectioners' sugar.
